New Music Labs proudly presents the Social Media Charts South By Southwest 2010
With our Tribemonitor service we track all artists playing SWSW 2010 on loads of different social media like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube Channels, Myspace, Hyves, Last.fm, Flickr & Delicious. This data generates a Social Score for every artist. The Socia Score determines their place on our Social Media Chart.
Every datasource has a different weight in the Social Score. For instance a friend on Myspace has a different value than a play on Last.fm. The Social Score grows exponentially. Which means it’s much harder to move from 19 to 20 than it is from 4 to 5.
